Um novo género botânico existente no meu jardim: Bellevalia, família Asparagaceae. Um género que conta com uma espécie endémica em Portugal - Bellevalia hackelii - sendo que a maioria das 65 espécies estão depois distribuídas maioritariamente desde a Turquia e Israel até à Ásia central. É uma planta perene que tem tudo para funcionar bem nos jardins portugueses e tem uma aparência semelhante ao género Muscari. Na minha coleção constam 3 espécies.
A new botanical genus existing in my garden: Bellevalia, from Asparagaceae family. A genus that has an endemic specimen in Portugal - Bellevalia hackelii - with most of the 65 species being distributed mostly from Turkey and Israel to Central Asia. It is a perennial plant that has everything to work well in the Portuguese gardens and has a similar appearance to the Muscari genus. In my collection there are 3 species.
