SOMETHING IN THE YARD

Ireland is not the best place in Europe when it comes to a wide variety of different wildflowers but this is not synonym that here we don't an impressive and gorgeous flora, and I'm gonna show you with this post that I'm right! Viola tricolor Last weekend I spent around 45min in a walk in Dublin 3 and around 2h in the south area of Bull Island. Both places are part of County Dublin, Ireland. Now it comes the main question: how many native wildflowers did I recorded in less than 3h spent on my last weekend? Are you ready to know them? You'll be impressed! Number of Species found: 34 Families found: 17 I need to admit I didn't have time to record other species that I also found, so I truly believe I could easily reach 50 different species. Um belíssimo passeio por Howth no dia 14 de Junho permitiu-me visitar pela primeira vez em 2020 este magnífico local, repleto de vida e biodiversidade. Os registos fotográficos não podiam ter sido mais surpreendentes. A beautiful walk through Howth on the 14th of June allowed me to visit this magnificent place for the first time in 2020, a place full of life and biodiversity. The photographic records could not have been more surprising. Local |  Place O local escolhido foi o Howth, mais precisamente o percurso mais longo em loop: roxo. São cerca de 13-15km desde o ponto de partida até ao ponto de chegada.
